i don't know what happened, but they won't load anymore. dreamscenes work fine, deskcapes won't display at all. i have uninstalled/reinstalled as well. using the latest beta version. any ideas?
i would like to know how to change this, i sync my documents folder to about 3 pc's at the office, and 2 pc's at home. now at work, it's not such an issue, but when it's syncing to home u can imagine it's a pain, since the dream files are pretty large. i know other things are stored in documents as well, and some other apps now store in all users, which is even more frustrating when dealing with folder redirection. any thoughts on this?
is there anywhere that keeps an updated list of what object desktop and stardock apps support which versions of vista/xp 32 and 64bit?
skins for object desktop programs, are stored all over the place. in user documents, now some moved to public docs, i mean, this is really a mess. and there is no way to change where skins are stored, in SDC i can change where programs are installed to, and where program shortcuts are created, but not where skins are stored. this is also bothersome for people on a network with a GPO that forces folder redirection, as some applications like object dock plus do not work correctly then. it wo...
everytime there is an update, skin folders seem to move to other places. first, it started with object dock, to "documents/stardock/object dock/", which worked pretty well, except when using folder redirection, it sometimes works, sometimes doesn't in my tests. then dreams were put there as well, cool, starting to get 1 folder where skins are kept. then windows blinds, icon packager, soundpacker, and thememanager to users/public/documents/stardock - which, actually works alot better i think f...
in the skins and themes portion, when u click on a skin category the preview pane is blank. i don't understand this, minimize/maximize will get it to populate properly. i'm not sure why this hasn't been fixed in vista yet, seems odd.
it would be really cool if there was a way, on boot up, or shortcut or something, to apply a random theme from theme manager that i have created and pieced together from many different things. this keeps me from buying master skins, because i'm always looking for a new skin to use on a daily basis, and when i don't see a new WB posted, i go find a suite that i've used b4. i don't normally go back to a WB i've used, because then i have to manually configure each skinnable app i use. is there a...
